Cárnicas Iglesias participates in the “family business program” fostering entrepreneurship in classrooms.
This is the second edition of the program driven by the Family Business Association in Castilla y Leon (known in Spanish as EFCL) in cooperation with the Department of Education. 28 companies are participating within this program.
Entrepreneurs of Castilla y León under this program, will give talks to 32 schools and it will reach more than one thousand of students in the schools. Subsequently, students will visit the headquarters of the companies, which contributes to reinforce in a practical way the contents of those subjects related to business.
Besides, this year the course will cover also the Autonomous Regions of Navarra, Castilla La Mancha and Galicia thanks to the respective offices of the EFCL.
The objective of the program is to foster entrepreneurship and family business values among the young people, as well as the role and relevance of these companies in our economy and society.
On February 28th, Francisco Iglesias Gil, Carnicas Iglesias, will have a meeting with students of Calasanz School, to explain how our family business works, our values and our objectives.
Weeks after the school visit, all the students will be invited to visit our factory in Salamanca.
